…..As participants receive a roadmap for winning big in 2024
With New Year resolutions making every reel and page on social media, world-class Performance Strategist, Dr Abiola Salami, has taken the lead in propelling entrepreneurs and career professionals to attain a higher level of performance this year with his annual goal attainment kick-starter, Rock Your 2024 Like A Champion (Rock2024LAC).
With over a hundred participants in the room at the hybrid event, the Principal Strategist @ CHAMP – a full scale professional services firm trusted by high performing leaders – provided participants with insights for distilling their goals and he gave them a roadmap for winning big in 2024.
Visionary organizations such as DigitalEncode, Wakanow, FirstBank, HCI Health and others took the lead by leveraging Rock 2024 Like A CHAMPION to position their staff for greatness in 2024. Participants also came from the big four consulting firms including KPMG, PwC & Deloitte.
The author of The Peak Performing Woman’s Companion coached the attendees about developing a growth mindset. He also outlined the need for them to identify their values, avoid distractions, eschew procrastination, and live beyond bias while maintaining such energy even until the end of the year.
During his presentation, the Forbes Coaching Council member reminisced about the first edition, which had less than 20 participants, as he is confident that visible growth had taken place. Salami’s confidence is not unconnected to the pleasant surge in the number of participants for this second edition, which was over a hundred in-person.
For anyone who is committed to achieving peak performance in 2024, Salami listed five points to nurture. “They need to pay attention to cultivating high-quality behaviours,” he cautions. “Pay attention to knowing how to build high-quality relationships, know how to hold high-quality conversations, master executive presence and you need to have emotional intelligence.”
While insisting that individuals need to master those qualities, The Magic of Emotional Intelligence author pointed out, “And if they have learned them before, there is an opportunity for them to relearn it. And that is what this is about today”.

In his wrap-up, the convener highlighted CHAMP’s 2024 Programs as follows:
A. Rock 2024 Like A CHAMPION – The annual goal attainment kickstarter for leaders and teams in the private, public and social sectors.
B. TPP Magazine 2.0 Soiree – The unveiling of the second edition of The Peak Performer Magazine. The magazine is now available for free download here
C. Made4More Accelerator Program an enabler for mid-level career professionals and entrepreneurs who are committed to driving results and getting on a fast growth path in their industry. According to him, “For 5 consecutive Saturdays from 10th of February till 9th of March, we will be treating a peculiar set of career professionals and entrepreneurs who want to increase their impact and influence in their industry to our signature marketplace performance accelerator program.”
D. The Peak Performer Recognition 2024. This is a summit, exhibition and awards where over 1000 career professionals and entrepreneurs will gather to discuss Driving A Culture of Peak Performance in Africa from April 26-27 2024.
E. MOMBASA 2024 – Dr Abiola Salami International Leadership Bootcamp. According to Dr. Abiola Salami “In May 2024, we will lead Senior Leaders in Public and Private Sector to Mombasa, Kenya for the 2nd edition of Dr Abiola Salami International Leadership Bootcamp. The conversation will be on Driving Transformational Leadership with The Magic of Emotional Intelligence
F. The Peak Performing Woman of The Year. We will also host the Peak Performing Woman of the Year in September. This is a Summit, Exhibition, Concert & Awards specifically curated to support SDG5 wIth the theme Gender Inclusion: A Critical Tool for Driving Peak Performance in Africa.
G. MARRAKECH 2024 Once again, we will lead Senior Leaders in Public and Private Sector to Marrakech, Morocco in October, 2024 for the 3rd edition of Dr Abiola Salami International Leadership Bootcamp. This time, the conversation will be on Driving Transformational Leadership with The Magic of Productive Communication.
