The 8th edition of the Pan African Leadership Symposium And Honors (PALESH-Abuja) 2022 is set to hold in Abuja on Friday August 19 to commemorate the United Nations World Humanitarian Day.

World Humanitarian Day is observed every year on 19 August to pay tribute to humanitarian workers killed and injured in the course of their work. It is also to honour all aid and health workers who continue, despite the odds, to provide life-saving support and protection to people most in need.

Hence, this year’s PALESH event promises to be the most remarkable international event with confirmations of attendance from Grest African Personalities as the PresidenIy of DRC confirms attendance with four Ministers and seven director of ministries attending the event.

The Vice President of Liberia, Jewel Howard-Taylor, the prospective Presidential CandidHoward-Taylor Mike Jactone, 

Presidential Candidate of Haiti, Noel Nelson, and Cameroon top Government Executive, Dr Mokube Mathias, Zambia Minister of Commerce, Trade and Investment confirmed participation. 

Meanwhile, top Nigerian celebrities including veteran film makers like Dr Kenneth Okonkwo, Chinwetalu Agu, Dele Odule, Zebrudiah Okpala, Dr Tony Akposheri, Rose Odika, Otunba Dr. Akin Lewis, Otunba Bolaji Amusan aka Baba Latin, Dr Kanayo O. Kanayo and Funky Mallam to be honored as UN SDGs Ambassadors of Peace.

As part of activities lined up for this epochal event, UN IPGC AFRICA in collaboration with Nigerian Army Institute of Science, Education and Technology is organising a three-day International Executive Masterclass from August 16th to 18th 2022.

The event will be on Peace Studies & Conflict Resolutions featuring Leadership, Sustainable Peace Building, Inclusive Governance and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for awardees, top government executives, diplomats, grassroot community leaders, security personnels, and religious leaders.
