The US police, Tuesday, arrested 22-year-old Roberto Crimo III, the suspected shooter at the Independence Day parade in Highland Park, Illinois US.
Although he was referred to as a “person of interest” in Monday’s shooting, the police said they believed he was responsible for the crime.
Crimo is accused of opening fire at the parade from a rooftop near the city of Chicago at around 10:15 local time (15:15 GMT), just a few minutes after it began.
This resulted in the death of six adults and several injured persons.
